Meeting the Mean Bad Guy, Shrug!

Sometimes events in life not only knock you down, but steal the person you once where. I'm chatting with one such character, Shrug. Mean and bad is a kind way to describe him these days, but what made him turn mean and how does he use this badness in a society that he no longer belongs in?
